It’s Easyer To Help From A Position Of Strenght

Why do I always put of writing a new post until I’m too tired to stay awake? I do plan to quit procrastinating! Maybe tomorrow….

Well I don’t have anything exciting to report,to all my many ( 0 ) readers. I’m still broke,and haven’t made any dough on the net so far.But that’s not getting me down too much,this is still the rags part of my “Rags To Riches ” story,that you all will be so happy to say you followed from the very start! On That note,and to put the record straight so to speak,I’ll mention just a bit more about the”rags” part of my story. Yup,I know my story is not unique in any way,but I hope by recording some parts of my struggle to find a new path in life ,I might be able to help at least one person going through similar hardship.

OK here’s the list. (and an excuse to try out the bullet points on here )

• I Have No Current Income ( Yeah, no JOB!)
• I Am Living With Very Generous Friends (Homeless)
• I Am Borrowing A Ten Year Old Laptop (Upgraded to Win XP ! also from same generous friends )
• Had My House Repossessed
• Had to Sell My Car
• My Dog Ran Away……..( OK That part is what they refer to as poetic license! aka, A Lie…..sorry!)
•                                                   (One more bullet point for whatever else I care not to mention )

Well I’m sure you get the point.Lots of people are worse off than Me and I know it.I’m not “bitchin” here just establishing a starting point.The way I figure it,these posts are dated so I’ll have “proof ” of my origins.You know when I finally make it to the “riches” part of my story.The part where I can finally pay back some of the help I have been so kindly offered,and at long last be able to offer help to others for real.I don’t believe you can really reap rewards for yourself until you have been able to help others,and you can’t help others very well when your broke!

Speaking of helping,this is an unsolicited plug for a guy whose blog I like to read. He really puts a lot of great info about web marketing on his blog,and I really feel he goes out of his way to be helpful! I know he is advertising his skills and products,and I hope making a lot of money at what he does,but I don’t feel it’s all about just the sales pitch with him. You can find him at http://rob-jones.com/ He really gives away allot more than most of the pros out there. like I said I haven’t made a dime yet,so I’m sure my endorsement wouldn’t be very helpful to the guy,but if anyone checks him out and agrees or disagrees with me I’d appreciate the feedback. I’ll try to mention more people and websites that have helped me along the way,once I’m reasonably  sure that they have  helped.

Ok,to wrap things up,I would like to reiterate this is not about self pity or or a plea for help,but hopefully a story about self help and helping others.Trying to spot the lions crouching in the bushes,and pointing them out. And maybe being guided down a path with less lions. (No, I am not a lion hater,just a writer of bad metaphors! ) Here’s to less procrastination,see ya next time!

Why Do So Many People Keep My Money In Their Pockets ?

OK,So the title is more or less just a joke. Just like the way I sometimes feel about all the “Opportunities” out there on the great WWW! I mean,like I know its possible to make money with this thing,but sometimes I cant stop “learning how”,and just do something! All those ads seem so slick and polished,their owners look so rich!Yeah I buy cars from guys with wide grins and wider ties!I know I’m going at this all wrong,because this is what?,,,,,my third entry, and I’ve made like $1.10 ha ha sob sob…   OK ,pity party OVER!

New paragraph!,ummm ,,OK still feeling crappy,but more of a pity luncheon than a party.New paragraphs are good for the soul.

Ahhh ,there we go all better now.

I was out riding dirt bikes all day today,you know,sun in the face,wind in the hair,kinda deal.Maybe I should have done something more productive today,but whether its crankin up the ole amp,and makin some noise,with my favorite Strat,or makin some noise with dirt bikes,some times making some noise just helps clear your head,ya know? And changing the subject oh so subtly can help to!Damn I’m glad I’m not a professional writer,because I’d be going broke…    What have I got, like 197 words so far about nothing,and yet I seem compelled to blog on!Writing is quite cathartic though,like music,and going fast,and for me,not profitable either! lol

I would love to hear from anyone out there that makes a living online,and by that I don’t really mean telecommuters who work for brick and mortars,from home, but net only types. OK I’ll talk to anyone I’m not a snob And I’m lonely….. OK not lonely,but everyone I know,thinks the entire internet is a ripoff! And to some degree I think just proving them wrong would be worth more than the real cash,especially US currency! (How much will be “printed” before its worthless)    Wow am I rambling here,and I cant seem to help myself.Well I guess I’m off to read another “free” E-book,and fry my little brain some more.Wish me luck.  Chao.

Does Your Head Ever Feel Like Its Leeking Out What You Read 2 Pages Back?

Well so much for getting back “tomorrow”! At crastinating I am a Pro!Although I still don’t know if anyone without Godlike powers can make money on the internet,I am learning enough to turn my head into mush! I think its called information overload! I do know that I need a Goal,a Niche,and a bunch of Friends!     OK that was easily said!Yeah I don’t know quite what to do with this yet either.

  I have read allot about giving content away,and this appeals to me because I like to help others whenever I can. I’m just not sure yet when its OK to make profits and not feel like a sleazeball!but then again,making too many profits sure isn’t a problem for me so far!Although I must say I quite enjoy the research ,and digging for ideas,at some point if one can’t put this knowledge to work in the form of action,than it’s all just a waste of effort and time.

 I recently watched a couple of videos from Rich Schefren,and I felt he had a great approach to teaching,and obviously knows what he’s talking about,but the price for his mentoring course was too rich for my blood. I must say he did give away some really useful info,or at least I think it was!  lol Guess its hard tellin not knowin! It definitely seems as though sharing is one of the important keys to success,and I should think that would be true for all aspects of life, not just making a living from the web.

 While I haven’t learned enough yet on my quest to become a marketing “Guru”,to be worth anything to anyone so far,I do feel that I need to pledge to share with the few people who will ever read these posts,any ” secrets” that I might come across. Of course any good karma that I might acquire from this would surely be wiped away by harming anyone Else’s business by giving away “secrets”. I guess that’s whats called a dilemma. But there must be an ethical work around for this somehow.Any Ideas? Hello World !  Indeed!  Well,there is a first time for everything,and this is one for me!

I’m not quite sure where this is going to go,but I was thinking about blogging about my attempts to find a legitimate way to make money on the net. I’m not a business man and for sure not a writer! so this could get messy! I know,they’re all just SCAMS but I have the benefit of being stupid enough to click on anything and have fun trying to make it work! Also getting ripped off doesn’t really cheese me off.I just chalk it up to a learning experience and move on. (And sometimes get a laugh at my own expense! )

I’m sure this topic has probably been done to death,but since I’m completely new to blogging,I’m blissfully ignorant about my ignorance! I would welcome any feedback I can get, Pro or Con, as all knowledge is helpful.If I find anything that works for me,,,no not a sales pitch here!,,,I will gladly share with the world! Yeah I know My world is quite tiny.

Wow! That spell check is quite a nag isn’t she! Well anyway the snow is finally melting pretty good here in Maine and I heard a lone goose fly overhead the other night,(kinda weird,usually they have friends!) and the peepers are peeping loudly so all is well in the world right?
